Tanya Rybicki
Tanya began her dance career at the age of 4, studying in Michigan under Miss Susan Bunting, and her passion only continued from there, being trained in classical ballet, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop & jazz.
After high school, Tanya decided to further her love of dance, moved to Green Bay & continued her dance education with a strong emphasis on classical ballet while also thriving in her finish carpentry career & freelance photography business.
While raising 3 beautiful children (one being Miss Ennah!), she took her training to the next level, and decided to start teaching her love of dance...which she continued to do for 7 years, working at local studios teaching ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz & hip hop, incorporating a ballet program into a High School Dance Team Program & attending conventions along the way.
Tanya's devotion to the art has been evident throughout the years & has thoroughly enjoyed watching her two daughter's flourish in it as well.
Tanya believes ballet is the core to dance education & stands by appropriate skills, development & constructive feedback...to allow dancers to love all that ballet truly is.

ABOUT US
At Tessmer School Of Dance, we believe that dance is more than just movement—it’s a journey of growth, connection, and self-discovery. Our goal is to nurture dancers who not only master their technique but also develop a deep understanding of the art of movement and the beauty of expression. We focus on guiding each dancer to connect their mind, body, and soul through dance, learning how to tell stories and share emotions through movement.
We take pride in offering a well-rounded dance education that combines technical training with life lessons in discipline, teamwork, confidence, and creativity. Our curriculum includes a variety of styles such as ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, pointe, and lyrical, allowing dancers to explore different techniques while discovering what inspires them most. Each class is designed to build strong foundations, encourage artistic exploration, and foster personal growth.
Beyond the studio walls, we strive to instill values that dancers carry with them throughout their lives—respect, perseverance, compassion, and dedication. We encourage our dancers to think creatively, move with intention, and express themselves freely while learning the importance of commitment and collaboration.
Most importantly, our studio is built on a sense of family. We celebrate each dancer’s individuality while creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and inspired. Our dancers cheer one another on, share in each other’s successes, and grow together as a close-knit community. Through dance, we not only create beautiful art but also lifelong connections and memories that shape who we are—both as artists and as people.

OUR STORY
Tessmer School of Dance was founded in 2023 by Ennah Tessmer, a lifelong dancer with big dreams and a heart full of passion. Growing up as a competitive dancer, Ennah spent countless hours training, performing, and pushing herself to reach new levels both technically and artistically. Alongside her competitive experience, she was also a dedicated member of her high school dance team, where she discovered her love for teamwork, leadership, and inspiring others through movement. These years of dedication helped shape her vision — to create a studio that celebrated hard work and excellence while fostering individuality, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
Right after graduating high school, Ennah took a leap of faith and turned her dream into reality. With the unwavering support of her mom, Mrs. Tanya, by her side every step of the way, she opened the doors to Tessmer School of Dance in De Pere, Wisconsin. Together, they built the foundation of a studio rooted in love, family, and passion for the art of dance. Starting in a small but perfect first space with a handful of loyal and enthusiastic dancers, Ennah and her team set out to redefine what a competitive dance studio could be—one that combines drive and discipline with compassion and creativity.
The journey wasn’t always easy, but through perseverance, dedication, and a shared vision, the studio continued to grow stronger each season. From their first competitions to building lifelong friendships, every moment has been a step forward in shaping a community where dancers can truly feel at home.
Now located in the heart of Downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin, Tessmer School of Dance continues to grow and thrive—upholding its mission to train skilled, confident, and expressive dancers while maintaining the warmth of a true dance family. With Ennah’s leadership and Mrs. Tanya’s continued love and support, the studio remains a place where passion meets purpose, and where every dancer is encouraged to dream big, work hard, and dance from the heart.
